Study of good thing.

Sleeping is one of our day to day activity. We often take it lightly that results in either extended periods of wakefulness or oversleep. Sleep is necessary to revitalize, especially for brain, so that it may continue to function optimally. But when it comes to sleep, can we have too much of  a good thing ? certainly no, nor we can have too less of a good thing.

Its true good night’s sleep is essential for our health, but oversleeping have been linked to a cause for various problems like diabetes, obesity, heart disease and even risk of loosing your life! how about under-sleeping ? it does affect, after periods of reduced sleep neurons may begin to malfunction, visibly effecting a person’s behavior! the cerebral cortex (the outer covering of the cerebrum) the layer of the brain is not able to rest but rather remains semi-alert state.

Layer of the brain

During the 1950s, a gradate student named Eugene Aserinsky used tool to discover what is known today as REM sleep. Further studies of human sleep have demonstrated that sleep progresses through a series of stages. Certain stages of sleep are needed for rejuvenation of neurons within the cerebral cortex, while other stages of sleep are useful for forming new memories and generating new synaptic connections.

So, you must be wondering what is the right amount of sleep hours ? studies have shown that people who sleep between 6.5hrs and 7.5hrs a night live the longest. And people who sleep 8 or more, or less than 6.5hrs., they don’t live quite long. The risk associated with sleeping too much is equal to risk that is associated with sleeping too short.

But the amount of sleep we need varies over our lifetime. It depends on our age, level of our activities, our health habits and lifestyle. Consider a scenario: when we are suffering from illness, we may feel an increased need for sleep. But sleep needs differ from person to person. Experts recommend adults to sleep for 7hrs to 9hrs each night. Well take care and plan your sleep well.

New Apple Patent Suggests Wireless Charging May Be Coming Soon

A recently filed patent application suggests that Apple may be planning on adding a wireless charging feature to its products soon.

According to the patent, the range is limited to one meter. However, if this can’t be boosted (we think it probably will), a one meter radius is still very manageable.
